Doonbeg Community Centre, Co Clare
Navitus has recently carried out an energy audit at Doonbeg Community Centre in Co.Clare. The purpose of our audit was to establish current energy usage and to identify practical and cost-effective energy saving opportunities.
From our audit, we suggested that an 'energy action program' suited this case the best. Immediate implementation would result in sustained reduction in energy usage, and therefore a substantial reduction in costs as well as reducing CO2 emissions.
Air Tightness Testing
Consultants at Navitus are specialists in Air Tightness Testing and have carried out over 50 air tightness tests.
We recently carried out an Air Tightness Test for an old period house in Rathgar, that was being restored. We conducted the first test before renovation began and at several stages during restoration. Due to our continuous monitoring, the building managed to achieve an A3 energy rating.
